Hello, and welcome!

Welcome to our new blog, Hiya Georgie!

We are super excited to begin this blog, so where better to start than introducing ourselves. My name is Catherine, and together with my husband Mark we re-homed our lovely little sausage dog Georgie in January of this year (2023). We have all been inseparable ever since - Georgie more so (he suffers with terrible separation anxiety) - but this is a great excuse for us to spend our weekends searching for new doggy friendly activities for us all to do together!

Unfortunately Georgie was bought along with his brother as a Christmas present, which then turned into them being unwanted Christmas presents. Luckily for us we were on the hunt to adopt a doggy into our family, so we took Georgie in after he was cared for by a friend of ours. Don’t worry, his brother Eric also went to a loving new home!

So far we have had 7 fun months of loving our little sausage… He has the cheekiest little personality and in true sausage dog style he is extremely stubborn! We have had lots of ups and downs with him, mainly due to him becoming a rather reactive little doggo, but with consistency we will get there!

The aim of our blog is to share all of our ups and downs with you, the reality of days out with a reactive dog, a little bit of travel here and there, days out in the UK, and anything dog friendly we can think of!
